Re: CSCO and TLAB are actively trying to acquire CIEN. What? CSCO has point blank denied this. Not at all the usual vague "no comment" stance. Ciena just does not meet Cisco's model for takeover. With TLAB the jury is still out. My take is that TLAB is interested only if the price is right, probably mid $20's. Anything much higher, and they feel that their shareholders would not approve it. Dunno if that qualifies for "actively trying to acquire CIEN", though. -John
