TICK:

Tick is a short-term indicator that measures market strength. It is calculated on an ongoing basis throughout the trading day as the net difference between all NYSE stocks with last sales occurring
on an uptick (higher price than previous sale) and all NYSE stocks with last sales occurring on a downtick (lower price than previous sale). In essence, it is a moment-to-moment representation
of net advancing issues.
