I decided to try to make some sense of the activity of the price action of AMPEX so I decided to try and learn some TECHNICAL ANALYSIS! What a better stock to learn TA with. Anyone one this thread using TA on this ONE? From what I gathered from the chart is that there is a slight down trend that began after the big run up. The stock appears to be under some selling pressure based on the LINEAR REGRESSION line along with the flow of OBV(on balance volume). However, I interpret this sign as only a TEMPORARY bearish or maybe a false signal. This is because as the price is declining the OBV(this measures positive and negative volume by adding the total volume on up days and subtracting the volume on down days) is rising<which is a BULLISH SIGN>. Can anyone confirm what I have just wrote? Because I don't know what I just wrote! In any EVENT, I am for the short term bearish on AMPEX, but for the LONG term BULLISH on AMPEX. I'm just going to wait a little bit longer to jump back in as the numbers become a bit more positive on the CHARTS. I'm gonna have the chart service for about a year. I'll be keeping a close eyeball on this ONE STOCK! In the meantime hopefully the other "ONES" will continue their UPWARD PATH! Then I'll buy AXC at hopfully a DESCENT price, again. However, I am all the way a believer in the COMPANY. I just want to get confirmation from the TA. If that is possible! Is there ANYONE out there(IN HERE) who does TA care to comment? This would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Let me repeat, I am new to TA and PLEASE do not make any investment decisions based on what I have said here. Use you own mind and then, and only then, should you make an investment decision. Thanks. john anderson
