Sorry, I didn't realize you were the "moderator." On so many threads, people just post at will. But I appreciate your warm welcome.

I bought SVSY about 9 months ago.

I check the thread from time to time (but only when certain posters are "back to sleep" or "in hiding" as they refer to themselves and not busy posting discriminatory and vulgar remarks).

Here was a post where noted what I saw as a possible turnaround point to an appropriate SI thread.

At present, I have seen nothing MORE to suggest promise of an SVSY turnaround than SVSY changing its status from a "development stage" to "regular" status corporation for FY99. I interpret this to mean a change from an "S" to "C" corporation, which would mean they are expecting to turn a profit.

As for the long-term potential of non-chlorine wastewater treatment, however, I believe SVSY will have a steadily growing market for their product (if it proves to be a competitive treatment which meets public health standards) into the next century. Why? Because the current hype for the "benefits of chlorine" and disregard for data supporting the carcinogenic nature of dioxins (by-product of chlorination) is very parallel to the hype for "benefits of cigarettes" and the disregard for data supporting the carcinogenic nature of tars released in tobacco smoke which took place 75 years ago. In 50 years, the use of chlorine will likely have been banned or will be at least highly controversial and regulated.
