I think that the change in Oracle stock price is largely due to
fundamentals, not manipulation, and while I disagreed with Michelle's
posts at the time (believing that the fundamentals at Oracle were
better than she did), I didn't think that she was crazy, so I think
that dumping on her for being wrong is a little harsh. (It wasn't
obvious to me that the apps business was going to turn upside down
so fast in July, and I don't recall anyone else calling it on any
of the threads that I read.) However, I'm all for civility, so asking
people to be more respectful of other opinions (or at least ignoring
them quietly if you can't respect them) is a good idea.
