Louis,
Thanks for your picks and for following the instructions with the brief explanations to the side. First regarding AOL. I agree 100% but if you read my first post I already have a considerable portion. I don't mind disclosing I have made 20 times my money in 3 years on AOL.
I expect to hold it for many more years, since I see this company as continually being a leader and throwing its muscle around in the future, much like microsoft has done for so many years.
Yhoo, I agree about being a major portal. Can't see that changing, considering marketshare.
AmZN also agree and probably the only etailer I would consider for the list. I don't think most etailers will ever make money. But amazon has the ability to buy the ones that do. Thats why I would bet on them Marketshare and franchise name.
Csco-also agree on them dominating infrastructure.
Wcom-I actually own this stock (for about 1 year, wish i bought more, but would not consider it for the list because I'm looking for more of an internet only play.
Sunw- think JAVA and the importance of the internet partners ie. AOL will ensure there future.
INTC- More of a computer play than internet. Not viable in my opinion for INTERNET INDEX. But fanatastic company!!
CDNW-don't want to add another etailer. AMZN sells CD. Probably will buy them in a few years. They merged with N2K to compete not because they wanted to.
BFLY-same thing,Already one etailer. compitition too tough in future.
SDTI- no opionion yet.
