Alfred, Other 2 cents thoughts about Mutual Fund fame : Mutual Funds have fame if their shareholders are happy (ie if they win money). Not any of their shareholders would reproach them to win as much money as they can. Even if this funds use some strange methods. If an individual investor calls them and says : " I am not satisfied, I followed your buy recommendations of stock XXX and the stock went down x weeks later " They answer will surely contain something like : Oh Sir, you should better buy shares of our Mutual Fund than trying to make money by yourself. Technical investment is so complicated ... We are professionals of investment. Not any of us can disaproove these methods. Their first goal is : To satisfy their shareholders. It's my common sense. I am not of professional of trading and I can be wrong.
