This article talks a lot about cable modems and market share...That's exactly why AOL is trying to lobby for access to cable the same way there is shared access in the phone industry.....Even if AOL can't get the best-case scenario, which I'm assuming would be unfettered access to cable infrastructure, they will STILL form AGREEMENTS with cable companies.....Robertson Stephens Internet Analyst said this past Friday, Dec. 11, he STILL is expecting several broadband announcements before the end of the month....

One way or the other, AOL WILL BE ACCESSING BROADBAND, you and I can bank on that, or shall we say "broker" on that..:-)

Regards, George
