Last summer, when the gold market was very hot, this company was
drillng in Mali. They returned some outstanding drill results ... the stock went vertical in short order. I think it got to 28-30C in what seemed like hours. Well it was halted of course (listed on the ASE). During the investigation they found the drill cores had been salted .... apparently one of the people in the stock (forget his name) had been involved with this type of activitty before.

Needless to say when the stock started to trade again it fell down to the 2C area ... some people lost a lot of $$ over that one.

That combined with the Cartaway fiasco made for some intersting moments.
