very nice Emile.
John always pointed to Jesus,(ie "look the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world") and yet in his own humanness, as his execution was closing in on him, he sent messengers to Jesus almost as if to remind Jesus of his precarious position. I wonder if Jesus' message calmed Johns fears?
