Hi miss penni, For the most part I agree with your post. I also don't have much of a problem with religious songs at Christmas concerts. The songs at our school are about 90% religious, which I think is excessive.

I do have a big problem with the coerced prayer at football games. Can you imagine if one of the players decided not to participate in the kneeling in the circle? Does anybody here think that he wouldn't get a strong reprimand, and probably not be allowed to play the next game? Is it a coincidence that these "spontanious" quarterback led prayers are happening at virtually every school in Texas, and probably in other states as well? Do we have only religious coaches being hired? Are there no Atheist coaches when they are 10% of the general population? Who is behind this obviously well coordinated team prayer?

I think that is the same ultra right wing Christian wrong that has been trying to undo the election of Clinton from day 1.
