Hi Rick,

But of course if it is highly overpressured (and NOT extensive) we won't have to waste our time looking at paint samples, will we ?? As I've "been around the block" Rick I know that we still do not know if the reserve is in fact "extensive". And, if we're dealing with a highly overpressured turbidite, then we have to be at least a little bit concerned. Sure we've got a tremendously prolific well that's made over 1.5 Bcf, but....

Can you steer me towards any analog (albeit shallower) gas reservoir in the San Joaquin Basin that was comparably "highly overpressured" but nonetheless yielded a large reserve ??

Pleasant dreams. (I'm thinking "Black", myself !!)
:-) :-) :-) :-)

Later,
grayhairs
