I don't think it will reach that stage as I believe Barrick will end this stalemate in the required period. As far as losing the deposit I have always believed that to do so would have such a catastrophic effect on foreign investment in Indonesia. If they think that their reputations are tarnished now such an act would blacklist this country as place to do business for years to come. It would be extremely hard to raise capital to invest in Indonesia with this hanging over their head. We've heard these threats before of losing the deposit and deadlines have come and gone repeatedly. I don't think this time it is any different though many will disagree with me. If the Indonesian Government had kept out of this, this whole process would have been settled by now and they would have seen the beginnings of a mine develop. So much for wanting this thing resolved quickly !
