>>The prospect of a six month trial, consuming the energies and focus of ALL three branches of the government and potentially paralyzing the U.S. ability to conduct effective economic policies is pretty scary.

Almost as scary as Clinton himself. Gee, no wonder 58% want Clinton to resign after the House votes to impeach! But look at some facts, Chicken Little:

The people just re-elected the Reps knowing that they would impeach a man most of them voted against in the past two presidential elections. As for the market, it has soared dramatically since the Reps took Congress and economic decisions away from Clinton in late 1994. The market resumed its dramatic climb on October 8, the very day that the House voted to hold impeachment hearings.

>>What do you think the repercussions on the stock market, world economy and foreign affairs will be if Clinton is impeached and put on trial in the Senate?

The system will have been shown to have worked and the US will be seen as a paragon among nations in putting the rule of law ahead of the powerful corrupt and partisan interests. The LT, that will prove the best for the markets.

Clinton has no international respect. And Greenspan will still be there no matter what happens to the "Being There" president.
