Your last sentence is quite interesting. I'm guessing that you are under 30 years old. Now, Twest, before you dismiss me, or call me a member of the "Conservative Jihad", let me say a couple of things. Attributing responsibility for your perception that the moral character of the country is improving to someone who voted for partial birth abortions (that's the one where the "doctor" cuts off the baby's head after the baby is partially born), and has committed adultery on numerous occasions and has lied about it under oath, is OK with me. You can do that.

But please don't make the assumption that it MUST be true.

How about you personally? Is your drug usage down to zero, are you committing less crime, has your church attendance gone up, have you never cheated on your spouse?

I can say "yes" to all those questions. If that's a "Conservative Jihad", then I guess I'm in.

The moral character of this country is based on the actions of individuals...especially those that are in the spotlight.

That's the truth, my friend.
