Archie, >Jan is markdown month, everyone is clearing out the things they couldn't sell for christmas and the rest of the year. The Claire's stores in Minneapolis had one small box of markdowns. By small I mean less the 1 foot square. The purchases I was observing were all full price goods. There were no sales here!! Did the rest of you observe the same activities. Archie, if you really believe the growth of Claire's is going to slow down, you should short the stock. If this is reality the stock should crash and burn. Have you looked at the 10K as far as international expansion is concerned? Joan
