For all intents and purposes, the Iran-Contra hearings were impeachment hearings. The Democrats were trying to bring down Reagan at that time. What the dolts on this board miss is that six of the companies in the Dow gave earnings warnings last week and Brazil and Japan again had news related to financial recoveries? Might these have something to do with the correction. Not to mention that the S&P earnings have been flat to down, if not for one-time extraordinary gains, and probably will be again in January and April. Should look for these pre-earnings months like December, March, and June to be weak for next several quarters.
