>>The hypocrisy being displayed on the Right is staggering in its scope and profoundly destructive in its impact. That is the issue here.<<

The hypocrisy is displayed many times on many issues from both sides TW. To me party affiliation is not the issue here. The President should be accountable for his actions and face the consequences that
any American would face. Any corporate executive would have been terminated by now. No consideration would have been given on his ability to lead that company. There have been a couple of examples given on the news with similar circumstances involving sex, perjury etc. One is serving 5 years in prison the other I believe was serving two.

>>profoundly destructive in its impact<<

The same can be said as to what message we send to our children and our nation. The President is the leader of OUR nation. I feel one of his/her responsibilities is to lead by example. The current President's actions totally disgust me! Holding the highest office in the country possibly the world comes with responsibilities. To uphold the laws of this great country and to maintain the moral fiber is paramount! The President more so than anybody else should take responsibility for his actions and not twist the truth, play with legal definitions of words or phrases, claim executive privilege, etc.
Democrats are quick to point out all of the taxpayers money we are spending but just think how much money we could have saved with some cooperation or better yet the truth to begin with! I have a problem seeing how that is the republicans fault.

If a republican or another party affiliation President had done the same thing I would feel the same way.
