TPI TRANSFORM SERIES software enables PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN to
migrate over 200 IBM S/36 systems to client-server

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO (Jan. 17) BUSINESS WIRE -Jan. 17, 1997--TPI is
pleased to announce that PSA PUEGEOT CITROEN, Paris, France, Europe's
third largest automobile manufacturer, has utilized TPI's TRANSFORM
SERIES software to migrate their Mercure dealership software package
from over 200 IBM System/36 installations to new IBM OS/2 client-server
systems.

PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN is currently addressing approximately 400 European
dealer installations.

TPI inherited this project as a result of its acquisition of the
Cyberplan software and clearly confirms TPI's technology fully
functioning and operational. This has also led to an opportunity for
TPI to negotiate an ongoing maintenance contract in support of the
running software.

PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN chose TPI software to facilitate the migration of
OS/2. TPI's TRANSFORM/ORB middleware, combined with the ability to
translate the S/36 RPG and OCL languages to C, allowed PSA PEUGEOT
CITROEN to retain 100% of their original application logic in a
client-server configuration.

TRANSFORMATION PROCESSING INC. is an information technology company
that develops and markets software that enables companies worldwide to
automatically migrate their application programs and data from legacy
systems to UNIX, NT, and OS/2 open system environments.
