SuperBAT Signs Several Sales Rep Contracts
CHULA VISTA, Calif., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- BAT International's (OTC Bulletin Board: BAAT - news) subsidiary, SuperBAT Inc. has entered into an agreement with Ronglien Perman Salustri, the premier Automotive Aftermarket Rep Agency in the U.S., to sell TVT automotive products in the seven state western region. The agreement covers the states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii. Founded in 1982, Ronglien Perman Salustri is headquartered in Los Angeles and has offices in Phoenix, San Francisco, Denver and Kirkland, Washington. They have 20 sales reps, 4 field service managers, and 4 product managers covering the western region.
Ronglien Perman Salustri has major account relationships with CSK Auto (Checker, Shuck, Kragen), Genuine Parts Company (NYSE:GPC - news; NAPA) Auto Parts Company, Costco, Econolube, Paccar Auto, Etc. In all they all sell and service over 1,000 active accounts. They represent other quality manufacturers including Phillips, 3M, Rubbermaid, Ray-O-Vac, etc...
The agreement with Ronglien Perman Salustri provides for national expansion of TVT products on a region by region basis after successfully penetrating the western states.
SuperBAT Inc. has also entered into an agreement with C.A.M.C.O., (Coast Automotive Marketing Company) covering New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania. C.A.M.C.O. is a commercial rep agency that sells over 3,500 automotive repair shops and garages and 300 new car dealerships in the Northeast Region. A test marketing campaign with SuperBAT TVT's 130,000 mile Warranty Programs has been developed and will be launched in the Northeast region in January of 1999.
SuperBAT Inc. has also entered into an agreement with Hocking International Labs Inc. for the distribution of TVT products to the marine industry. Hocking International Labs Inc., established in 1976, manufactures and distributes chemical products to its network of marine distributors from Alaska to Singapore.
SuperBAT Inc. is in negotiations with prospective distributors in various world markets and will announce each of them as agreements are reached and signed.
