ProCyte Corporation Gains Nasdaq Hearing

REDMOND, Wash., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- ProCyte Corporation (Nasdaq: PRCY - news) today said Nasdaq has
agreed to a hearing with ProCyte on the issue of ProCyte's continued listing on the NASDAQ National Market based on its
bid price being below $1 per share.

As a result, the NASDAQ staff will take no action regarding ProCyte's listing until after the hearing date in late January 1999
and the company's common stock will continue to trade on the NASDAQ National Market without restriction.
