James,

You are wrong on all three counts.

1) In 1993 there was genocidal campaigns
being waged against not only Muslims, but
Croats, and Serbs.

2) The arms deal was done through the back door
via Croatia with the help of Franjo Tudjman, an
indicted war criminal. Nobody in Congress was
informed...nobody.

3) The Iranian arms deal was done in a desparte
attempt to save the lives of U.S. Servicemen, and
CIA agent William Buckley, who had been kidnapped
in Beirut and taken to Iran where he was later
torchured to death. The attempts by Ronald Reagan,
Oliver North, John Poindexter, and others to stop
terrorists was honorable and commendable. The
decision by Bill Clinton to arm terrorists in Bosnia
we will probably regret later...

-John

ps The war in the former Yugoslavia is far from
over...in fact this am I just read of a tremendous
firefight between Serbs and Albanaians along the
border. If the war was over, why doesn't Bill
Clinton keep his promise and bring home the 15,000
troops he has in Bosnia, or is it just another
one of Bill Clinton's promises that last about
as long as a big mac on Air Force One.
