Linkon Reports Nine Months Results;
Sales Up 50% Led by VOIP Gateway

FAIRFIELD, Conn., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Linkon Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: LKON
- news) today announced results for the nine months fiscal year 1999 ending October 31, 1998. Net
sales were $3.66 million up 50% over prior year's sales of $2.44 million for the same period. The
company stated that it incurred a net loss of $1.9 million or 15 cents per share for the nine months
compared to $1.2 million or 11 cents per share in the prior year's same period.

The Company also reported results for the Third Quarter fiscal year 1999 ending October 31,
1998. Net sales were $364,521. The company stated that it incurred a net loss of $1.1 million or 9
cents per share for the Third Quarter fiscal year 1999.

''We feel we are making significant progress toward our goal of becoming a market leader in the
fast growing scalable, UNIX, enterprise level Internet Telephony market while continuing to serve
our existing base of CTI customers, most notably AT&T,'' said Lee W. Hill, President and CEO of
Linkon. ''The product mix shipped year to date features more of our LinkNet Internet Telephony
Gateway including one of the world's first commercial deployments of an SS7 enabled VOIP
gateway.

''We have refined our marketing approach on this product to emphasize its IP switching capability.
At several tradeshows where we exhibited with Sun Microsystems, we experienced increased
customer interest from traditional telco's, the so-called 'next gen' telco's, Internet Service
Providers, calling card companies and large multi-national corporations.
