HC: Noticed? Yup. It looks like the MM's are "cooling down" VLNC....but then again, the volume(at a measly 13K shares) ain't nothing to write home about, eh? It looks like everyone's taken the rest of the year off. I doubt, barring any major news of note, that we'll see much more movement in either direction until the new year. Anybody doing tax-loss related "stuff" is probably out by now, and everyone else is standing "pat."

As for the person querying about whether going out on margin for VLNC shares is a good idea.......absolutely NOT! Not right now. Why? Because we still don't know when contracts will occur despite the fact that everyone on this thread has now reached agreement(more or less) on VLNC's viability, feels a little more warm & fuzzy and has all their oars in the water in the same direction(yeeeahhh team!). Ask Fred(FMK) about what happens when yer caught on the wrong side of the margin curve, ahem. Of course I'm assuming you're risk averse. If you can tolerate a fair amount of risk then going out ~10% of margin ain't that bad, and you should be able to tolerate a fair amount of downside "action" should it occur.

But if you ain't in at all at this point then I'd look for substantive indications that sumthings up before joining the party. Substantive? Yup, like a sudden spike on large volume. Better yet, corporate announcement of P.O.'s. This last comment is what I'm now looking for. All else has been said, and done by them. VLNC has now got to start producing contracts; because although the floor-less convertible/milestones issue has been resolved we've got the competition to worry about. VLNC's lead time is disolving away, and it concerns me that there's even the SLIGHTEST possibility of slippage from here as that just gives the competition an opening they won't have if VLNC can just get it done now. That's what we need right now(am I sounding impatient? Heh!), for them to get it done.

Bottom line? I'd like to think they'll have something like this to present to shareholders at their Henderson meeting. Let's see how it goes.

John~
