Dave and All, The SCSI card when bootable CD is detected premmpts all IDE devices. I had 4 hard drives in the machine I setup and the BIOS was set to boot IDE Primary controller but when a bootable CD is installed in jsut boots off it. No special setup required. There are some issues with earlier Adapctec 29XX series bioses and bootable CD's. I am using 1.34 which they sent me. Prior to that I had 1.21 which didn't work... Sean
