Hi Gary, You seemed to be having some of the same problems that I had trading waves a few years back. I have studied Elliott from both sides: (I will not make mention of names),but you know what I'm talking about from our Prodigy days. Yes, trading corrective waves are much harder than impulse wave, it's also not as good in terms of system results. One thing you should try to do is start using the advanced Elliott features in GET. ex: Wave 4 overlap percent (The Wave 0-3 % number box indicates the maximum % level of wave 3 that wave 1 can be labled) this does not mean that it will be labled right right at 50% mark, but anywhere from 1% to 50%. Ex. If you decrease this number to 20%, this means that the Wave 1 has to be labled somewhere between 1% and 20% of the length of wave 3. It appears to me that you are using the default mode to base you facts on, that fine, but remember GET is for both the new and the experienced that's why the extra tools are in the program. Also to make it easy, on the user are the ALT-1, ALT-2 and ALT-3 counts for experienced users. One other tool you might want to LOOK at is the Wave 4 overlap percentage to help you know what the road looks like ahead. The wave 4 overlap number box indicates the percentage that wave 4 can overlap wave 1 before the wave count is considered invalid and has to be recalculated. On a impulse model such as GET, 98% of the time if one would just look at the EWO (Elliott Wave Oscillator) the user would know if he or she should use the current count. Most of this information is in the user's manual.
