Thanks Trev, excellent report.
From that report and PRs on WSP's site, correct me if I'm wrong, but the 500kg we are waiting for is a new sampling taken from either of the 2 pre-sampled pits. Also, micros were taken from the original 400t sampling. The estimated tonnage of 3.5MM tons is for the NW dyke system plus an estimated 1000 metres of the same material running directly east under Snap lake. This they are assuming from the 5 holes drilled into the lake I guess last winter. This tonnage does not include what has been found on the north shore, east peninsula nor the south shore of Snap lake.
So, to date it looks like we are really waiting for the drill hole analysis reports from these 3 other areas. Once confirmed that the material is the same as the NW dyke with similar diamond counts, then we can better assume the greater potential for tonnage from these new discovered areas.
I get the impression WSP is going to concentrate on assessing the NW dyke find for possible feasibility of mining and proceed if it warrants. Anything else they find in the area, or prove up what they already have found is "gravy" unless they find the motherload. From what I've read, if they prove up the 3.5MM tons, they have enough there to build a profitable mine that could last 25 years. corrections would be appreciated. - denis
