It protected us when Nixon abused his power to use the FBI and IRS to go after his enemies... Does Clinton's lies about his sexual involvement with Monica Lewinski even compare to what Nixon did? I don't think so... There is a legal fine line as to the Grand Jury's definition of sex given to Clinton... Based on that fine line, sex meant sexual intercourse... Under that Grand Jury definition Clinton didn't lie when he said he didn't have sex with Monica Lewinski, even though you or I would consider his actions as sex... Therefore, no perjury... No case... Also... Ken Starr was supposed to search for the truth that would either indict or exonerate Clinton... His actions were strictly as a prosecutor... When he couldn't make Watergate stick he grasped for the sex straw... The fact that he was given a standing ovation by the Republican members of the Judiciary committee tells me where he got his marching orders... The term Kangaroo Court comes to mind... Jim
