At least in THIS case. >> When you take a look at the means that Ken Starr went to get at the President, it reminds me of the nazi era. He went after people's families and friends if he didn't get "his" truth told. He put Susan McDougal thru a living hell, imprisoned her for 18 months, even though she was not charged with a crime. If Ken Starr was just a right wing tool to get at the Presidency, as some have suggested, then he changes from a law driven defender of truth into a gestapo like inquisitor.
