My thoughts exactly (almost). I voted for Clinton twice (choke). If he had any integrity, he would resign ala Nixon and let Gore take over. He would then not be the second president to be impeached and the whole thing would be over pretty quickly. Gore gets to take over and show his stuff for a couple of years. This could only help the democrats (I think this is why you're starting to hear that the dems may roll over on Bill) because if Bill stays in office, you know that he ain't gonna keep that zipper shut. He's just to cocky! <gggg> They'll have a better chance in the next election if Bill's been long gone. He'll be able to wiggle out of the criminal suit no problem - he'll have a much easier time once he's not a "target" anymore.

If Clinton goes through the impeachment process and doesn't get convicted, it's going to be 2 more years of the republicans trying to take him down - more scandals (you know it!) and more gridlock.

I think the democrats are beginning to see the light.
