I know you understand the story - but quite a few still don't...sorry if I seemed "irritable" - four weeks of sleep deprivation with the new baby will do that to ya... ;> From what I know, the Embedded Systems Conference you were referring to is analogous to Microsoft's "TechEd" conference - a meeting of the geeks to talk about technical topics, "cool tools", technology trends, and so on... Y2K would have been a nice topic a year or two ago, but they'll already be severely screwed by the time TAVA tells 'em "the way it is" next spring...<g> I would like to see TAVA do a session on Y2K at the AMR, Gartner, and ARC manufacturing conferences this spring. This would really light up the board with some business...and would get TAVA some visibility with exec-level manufacturing types for both Y2K and post-Y2K work. That'd be high-impact stuff...
