It's here ... Jan 20/97 News Release for DAK-ASE: *DAKOTA RESOURCES LIMITED ANNOUNCES RECEPTION OF REPORT FROM ROBERT C. BRYANT REGARDING EXAMINATION OF SPECIFIC CLAIM IN CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO* 1997-01-20 CALGARY, ALBERTA DAKOTA RESOURCES LIMITED (the "Corporation") wishes to announce that the Corporation has received a report from Robert C. Bryant, a California Registered Geologist, in regards to his examination of a specific claim and surrounding areas in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico. Mr. Bryant was accompanied by two local engineers and a guide who were very familiar with the area. Samples were taken and assayed by a government laboratory. The results of these assays are encouraging. Mr. Bryant recommends that additional geological work be performed to attempt to uncover intersections of known veins with high grade shoots, as well as mineral zones to be discovered, all of which could be of extreme importance. The Corporation now intends to expand the acquisition of mining properties in Mexico. To this end, the Corporation will retain a Mexican mining engineer based in Durango, Mexico on an exclusive basis. This engineer will identify a large number of properties in the State of Durango for acquisition by the Corporation. As soon as legal title to the mining claims has been confirmed, the Corporation will commence doing preliminary geological assessments of the properties to determine which of the properties warrant further exploration and development. The Corporation is sending a team to Mexico in the near future to conduct site inspections and will report of these results as they become available. The Corporation is also assessing properties in the Yellowknife and Timmins areas, and will shortly be in a position to announce these developments. No numbers for us in it though. Any comment on the above release? What I'm curious about is the geologist, Robert C. Bryant. Any info on this fellow? Back around October 17, I recall announcement about DAK working with geologist Jens Touberg on the Chihuahua property... what ever happened with that? Ben
