You might be right. I hope you are right. However, I don't believe Bill has really come around. I think he's faking. I think that if it were not for a certain blue dress, Bill would still be lying about what happened. I mean, he still isn't even saying what actually happened, for cryin' out loud! Is this, "I still don't know what you did, but whatever it was, it's OK now?"

You can call it cynical, if you want. I choose to call it reality.

Gregor, I believe the process starts not with forgiveness, but with acceptance of responsibility. When I see Bill has really taken responsibility, (and I'll know when I do), then he can ask me to forgive him.
