Joe B. apparently not just the CFO anymore ... but the CAO ... was in Boston hosting a lunch for analysts. My buddy went and these are excerpts from his quick notes : He held the party line ... Looks like orders will come in a bit stronger ... Said 300mm was dead ... Comfortable with second half recovery ... Will catch up with NVLS in Cu ... Still looking at acquisitions ... but, not easy to buy and assimilate (Borg-like?) Standard, we are AMAT, fear our Balance Sheet ... Still want another 200Bpts in GM ... Warranty Exp. at 8-9% (too high) and Cost of Materials at 26-27% (could improve) ... Nothing too exciting ... -- Duker
