What is everyone thinking?! To David Stern and Billy Hunter....and to Patrick Ewing, David Falk and the posse of arrogant agent vampires. I'm sorry, but it's just a damn game!! Your greed and stupidity cannot and will not ruin my winter!! In fact, I'm taking the 4 grand I'm getting back from season ticket refunds and applying it to a series of great ski trips and will put the rest in investments to help my niece and nephew afford college in 15 years! I'm having a good winter thus far and am surprised by how little I miss seeing the pro babies waddle their way through poverty (in the form of a 100 million dollar contract, Kevin Garnett!). I do love the NBA GAMES themselves and will likely return someday, but it will be with a bag over my head, with 'SUCKER INSIDE' as the label.
