However, January 3rd is a Sunday and January 1st the markets are closed, so be sure you buy by December 31, if you dare. I have seen a number of days where there has been extremely strong volume with AMZN at the close. I'm no expert, but it sure looks to me like short-covering! Did you-all read the article about how investors lost $2 billion trying to short internet stocks? Amazing!!
