TomD, I just got back here in San Diego and wow, thank gosh I was boxed. Your 'Thing' is a stock that every momentum investor should have.
I went to Dlj a few minutes ago and their Jamie Kerrigan is still promoting Amzn, as a strong buy.
He states that Amzn will increase revenues in 98 by an additional $40mil. In 1999 he estimates they'll go from $500mil to $850mil.
He estimates that in 98 , they'll lose an additional $40 mil. He is, also increasing his 99 estimated loss, significantly!
He chooses not to get into 2000, only because he doesn't want to stick his neck out.
He does say that, momentum should increase the 'Things' stock price as consumers discovers the virtues of Amazon e-commerce. For the first time, this Xmas.
My strategy is, to only play my long shares until after the split, and the 2nd qtr 99 results are released.
Please! appreciate your roll, and in the Forrester year of 2003 .
I would not recommend giving up Medicine.
Ps
This money looser is going up to $500 ps. Enjoy it. You'll never experience a better high. Ever again, (Unless you find a Bio-Tech that cures cancer). Anyone who bet's this Beast down is nut's.
If you don't trust me. Ask Glenn, Jan, Sb, Ice, jach, flelica, otherchap, victor,Rs,etc, etc, etc.
Trust me on that.
Regards.
Ps,
The lid stays shut.
