Dennis P Roth from Yahoo found a nice link "Special Report in Nikkei Electonics Asia" nikkeibp.com
It has a table nikkeibp.com that shows the performance of several manufactures batteries. Overall ULBI's comes out on top with the closes second going to Moltech.

ULBIs b = 115Wh/kg times 500 recharge cycles = 57,500Wh/kg of life

Moltech b= 200Wh/kg times 200 recharge cycles = 40,000Wh/kg of life

However there is one puzzling statement under ULBI, "Volume production planned for end 1999". It was my understanding that they were already capable of volume production, per their most recent telecon.

Any comments?
