My crystal ball is cloudy, but I don't see how it will have any real effect on the market, even if he were actually removed from office. I mean, what if this were 2000, he would be replaced in January. What if he died? What if presidents only had a two-year term of office? We would not think anything of it. Or not much. I think those who favor Clinton remaining in power are making every conceivable threat. One of which I expect to see actually happen, that black social and political groups mobilize their constituents and march on the Capitol on Thursday.

I hope it doesn't happen. But if it does, I guess I will have to paint a sign saying "Guilty!Guilty!Guilty!" and go counter-demonstrate. Sort of like the 60's except in orthopedic shoes. <ng> <ok, G>
