Jenna,
I am confused about earnings plays. For example, SLR +7 1/8 but that only applies if you held through the report. It gapped up over 3 at open. So are you recommending holding through report or watching next day open and trying to get in on the run up? In SLR's case there was no run up prior to announcement and infact it declined in the prior week. After the gap up it did run up quickly (2 points in one hour) so making a quick decision to buy-in is critical or more of the overall increase is lost. Since I do not have real time quotes (excpept for what Etrade offers) I use qoute.com to watch the movements and thus loose another 1/4 hour.

I know you have discussed this before, but maybe there are others that are confused on using the list also. Please excuse me for being redundant.
