Sonny, I tend to agree with your position. What people are forgetting is that there are not degrees of perjury. Either you lied under oath or you did not. What the lie was does not enter into guilt or non-guilt. The other point that seems to be missed is what perjury does to our system of justice. If Slick lied in the Paula Jones case, he has denied her due process. This strikes at the very heart of our entire society. Without equal justice for all, the 'little' people have no hope. Without hope, the society degenerates. This is what really bothers me about what Slick did. He is single handedly destroying America - all to avoid taking responsibility for his actions.
