If he was asked under OATH and he deliberately lied as to the color of his tie, then our SUPREME COURT says it is PERJURY. What the lie was about is not material, only the LIE UNDER OATH is. Truth is germane to the issue, no matter what, not lies. Please correct me if I am wrong.
