SF, [edited] look at the price/orders chart for KLIC geocities.com and compare to price/orders for AMAT geocities.com Keep in mind these are 3-month average orders for ALL semi equip firms participating in the SEMI survey. Looks like the time to sell these stocks is a month before orders peak. Hard to guess, especially since SEMI reports the new results 20 days after the end of the month. Maybe you need inside info. Gottfried on KLIC you could have easily taken the flat spots at 27 and 32 for the top. You would have sold much too soon.
