If you've visited their website, you know as much as me <g>.My understanding is that they are a systems integrator specializing in broadcast/media/post-production market..the only thing specific thing I had heard way back when is that Ancor had previously won a bid against Prisa ( Brocade )last year for the 3rd largest televison station in Korea. There was a great deal of bullishness over the strategic nature of that win but that was before Korea blew up. PS - MESSAGE TO FIBREHOUND on YAHOO..1) Looks like you are wrong about your conclusions from Comdex ( no announcements in 1998)..next time, don't believe everything you hear from a SE at a trade show 2)there are still 16 days left in 1998 and 3) Richard Belzer resigned from Ancor 6 MONTHS AGO. International is split between Warren Taylor ( Asia ) and Barry McGriff ( Europe ). McGriff was responsible for the Inrange deal. In reality, McGriff is overqualified for his current job title at Ancor.
