While I really hate getting anywhere near the impeachment issue, the market (as well as society) is painfully aware of everything that is happening and has taken all of this in stride. The market doesn't care whether Clinton is impeached or not, it just doesn't care for uncertainty. But as long as nothing is going to happen to threaten the stability of the economy, and a long, drawn out impeachment hearing will leave everything status quo, life will go as normal. If Clinton resigns, it would come as a surprise and the market will react poorly. If impeachment stalls, the market will be soar. Not because anyone on the street likes Clinton, but because they are more than satisfied with the state of affairs of the economy and want things to remain as they are.

Hi, Tom. Having fun yet?
