Corel is going loopy for Linux.
The Canadian software vendor will release a free Linux version of its WordPerfect word processor for download on Thursday, and follow it up with a more complicated paid-for version, as well as a Linux version of the WordPerfect Office software in the first half of 1999, Corel said today.
