Well, if you think pointing out the case of one stock rising a couple of bucks proves anything then I guess you don't require much evidence.

First of all TRID was upgraded today (of course one could describe that as manipulation). Secondly what was the the number of TRID options affected by this "manipulation" last week? Is there really that many TRID options players that it would be worth manipulating the stock (could be, I really don't know)? Thirdly, why isn't Siii price soaring after all the "manipulation" last week (and the month before and the month before ad nauseum) as many here predicted it would? My answer to the last question is that many are worried about Siii's future prospects which in my opinion is justified. For all those out there who can't seem to figure it out, this is a high risk stock. Of course high risk can mean high reward which is why I bought in in Nov. at 16 5/8. I meant to be out of it by now but got to greedy and didn't sell at 19+ when I had the chance (a couple of weeks after buying). Still hope to make my target but now have the added worries of earnings announcement coupled with possible irrational market reaction.

After reading this thread for a couple of months I have realized that it is not useful for much beyond amusement value (and it can be amusing). 90% of the posts are just wishful thinking. Personally I don't understand this strategy of trying to constantly predict what is going to happen tomorrow. I notice that even after many successive failures these people don't give up. I particularly enjoy the TA posts that always seem to be saying "if the stock goes up tomorrow it will go up, otherwise it will go down". The other 10% are often useful, for example pointing to useful sources of info. To the latter, please keep it up.

Phil
