[AWRE "buy:"]

Salim --

I'm feeling like Cinderella when her stepsisters got invited to the ball and she didn't.

I've had the H&Q report read to me over the phone and there's some great stuff on DMT, so don't despair completely. Once it's digested, it'll have positive affect on all DMT stocks. While there's no mention of Amati---not even under competition---there's plenty on CAP. The language used on that versus DMT probably has Globespam cranking out press as we speak. Arm yourself. :) Once I get a copy---*if* I get one---I'll post the pertinent quotes. In short, the report says the gap between CAP and DMT has narrowed and "the majority of carriers will deploy DMT."

My take on why Amati hasn't been give a "buy" and Aware has is two-fold, one because they haven't announced a datacommunications partner and the other because analysts want to do a secondary (if and when) and can still use coverage as the carrot. Remember, H&Q covers ADI and feels an obligation to back their partner.

No matter what the reasons, it's kind of hard scrubbing the hearth while your less-graceful stepsisters cinch in their corsets, layer on the rouge, and head for the castle.

As with all great stories, there has to be conflict to keep the reader turning pages.
