There are a lot of uses for smart cards but I
do not think they will soon become a substitute for
credit cards in the US. The phone network is
already established into practically every user
in the US so there is a great deal of inertia
re changing the system. That still leaves many
other growth possibilities for smart cards!
But we must not confuse smart cards with memory
cards. How is SNDK involved with smart cards?
