Watch what the market does between now and 2:00 p.m. Between 2 and 3, we should get a direction for the afternoon. Remember that there are plenty of sellers out there that want to take the best price they can get before the end of the year. At the point at which they think they "just missed" the best price, they will sell, i.e. any down move will be accelerated, IMHO. If I were looking to go long on something I liked, I'd be waiting, not buying, so caution is advised on buying anything on a breakout. If you trade in anticipation of a trend change, you should have your exit ready in case it goes the wrong way.

On day trades, I very seldom enter a position between 11 and 2.
